Wii online with dial up

    I've read on other boards that its possible, but cant seem to find a good step by step guild

    i know i need either a wireless router or a nintendo wi-fi usb adaptor....which would be cheaper?
    and has anyone hear attempted to get the wii online with a dial up connection?was it succesful?

    Well ive isdn but im not too pushed about getting my wii online
    I guess a old mega drive game wouldnt be too bad
    how does it work with dial up or isdn?

    thanks for the link....anyone knew if a router is cheaper than the nintendo thingly?

    The Nintendo WiFi adaptor would probably be cheaper and easier to setup. Unless your area is going to be enabled for broadband then there is not really any need to buy a wireless router now as new standards will probably be around when/if your area does get enabled.

    but its unlikey that is gonna be happening soon.....even if im covered by the new tender,its a 5 year plan
