How come the Chelsea defenders, in particluarly Terry get away with pulling shirts and arms etc in the box all the time? Are referees not aware of this habit when reffing the game? I know many defenders do this but helsea defenders do it all the time and are so blatant.

All defenders do it all the time and it's always very blatant . Have a look a corners or indirect free kicks(which are going to be crossed in) and you'll see at least 5/6 shirts being grabbed by defenders with a few players from the attacking team also having a grip . It's part and parcel of the game nowdays..........infact it always has been .

No, Chelsea under Mourinho have taken it to a new level. Its like it pre planned and developed on the training pitch. Also Terry when blocking shots deliberately spreads his arms as wide as he can to block shots and gets away with "ball to hand". Carvalho and Terry are the most blatant and prominent exponents of this behaviour and it is part of their success in keeping clean sheets and blunting teams. When is last time a penalty has been given for a shirt/arm pulling incident when a corner/free kick was being taken? Chelsea know when corners are being taken its near impossible for Refs and linemens to see this behaviour. I'd like to see an extra ref assistant behind each goal watching such things and balls crossing line etc.

The only reason you see them doing it more is you want to see them do it more , honestly everyone does it and no one is more prevalent .
