Wondering if any of you guys can help me. Have a photograph that i need to crop, problem is cropping to the extent required is giving a very blocky appearance. Afraid I have not yet got Photoshop, going to try Gimp shortly, any other ideas?

You could try interpolating* in TheGimp, or download a trial version of Photoshop CS3 and do it, but at the end of the day, if the resolution isn't there, and you need a large crop, you won't get too far...

*try increasing the size by increments of 10%...It seems to get the best results in increasing size.
