    23 year old guitarist would like to join or form a group of individuals interested in playing loud rock music... think of a mishmash of zeppelin, cream, ratm, muse, radiohead for starters with a dollop of floyd on top.

    Sure it's not original but who gives a ****!!

    I'm looking to have fun but looking for dedicated people to take this serious and put in some time and effort.

    I'm based in South Dublin.

    Interested in joining a Hardcore/Post-hardcore outfit??

    Influences range across Rise Against, Thrice, At the Drive-In, Hatebreed, With Honor, The Mars Volta and something funky, loud, fast and rocking!

    I've already got a bassist and i'm looking for a 2nd guitarist and a drummer for the band. Right now need a guitarist to colaborate with for the songwriting process. I've got a drummer friend who can be a temporary drummer for the band. Plans are to get the band ready for gigs towards the end of summer.

    Oh and I'm the rhythm guitarist/vocalist for the band... 2nd guitarist has mostly got to play lead/melodies...

    how are ya? i gotta say i'm not too familiar with the bands you list man. However 'funky, loud fast and rocking' sounds good. Plus i like to think i'm open minded. You wouldn't have anything recorded by any chance? So i could get more of an idea of what you're looking to do?

    Where are you based anyway?

    I'm based in the Dublin and i've got a place to jam/practice in the city centre...
    I haven't got anything recorded yet. Haven't got much written either. I was busy all along due to coll and i had put away the band plans for the summer. Now as its summer, i need to get working on it.

    Loud, fast, hard rocking and funky could be something that describes the band well. You could consider it to be a louder, faster, heavier, more punk version of Red Hot Chilli Peppers with a RATM attitude... Or maybe a heavier punk version of Muse?!

    Lemme know if you're interested and we could organise something for the near future...

    Hey, I would be interested in meeting up. I've been playing solo for a few years with some acclaim. My rqnge of music is enourmous, I take influence from every style of music but I love rock like the bands you mention but going into system of a down, foo fighters (who I am seeing tonight), U2, The Jesus & mary chain etc. TO be honest I buy a minimum of a cd a week ranging from soul to hard rock so it is hard to list any definite influences. I have recorded some tracks, three of which ended up in the top ten of an internet download.
