Looking for hand history for 10c/25c 9 max level on Full Tilt. Just wondering what amount id need to buy for it be useful as in the majority of tables will have 3-5 players with stats or is it even worth it at this level as alot of people might just be passing through this level quickly????

I have a good few hands for .25/.50 if thats any use to you... I dont really play on FT anymore so if you tell me how to get them to you, you can have them for nothing...

why dont u just datamine them yourself, you can open up 16 tables and let PT do the rest.

    unless they changed recently

ya you dont need to sit at any tables on full tilt to get the hand histories. Just open the tables and run poker tracker and you will get all the info you need.

    16 tables x 60 hands per hour x 24 hours = 23040 hands datamined in one day.

I think full tilt is the only site that you can do this on. You need special data mining software for everywhere else.

How useful are HH's and PT stats really for 10c/25c anyway? I mean you know none of them can play poker, just take notes on the good ones like "knows the hand rankings" and you'll be grand. Buying HH's at that level would be a criminal waste of money.

Is iPoker dataminable at the moment?

Yeah thats true but sometimes you sit down at a table and within a few hands your faced with a decision that could lead to you getting all in, its always handy to know what type of player he is as it can save you a buyin or 2, good stats are always helpful whatever level your at.

I genuinely didnt realise you could auto datamine at FT but ive tried it and so far it hasnt worked. Can anyone help me figure it out, does it write the HH to the same folder my stats are in.

    This is what ive done:

    1 open a few tables
2 open poker tracker and choose auto import full tilt
    3 click start timer

It keeps saying no new hands were found and no extra HH files show up in the folder where my HH files show up. Any ideas or any other settings i should be fixing??

When i play it leaves a .txt file as my hand history but ive noticed there is several .tmp file store there that werent there before LHS30B.tmp is the name of one. Maybe i have to convert them or something????

right click on those files and click "open with" and use notepad.

if they can be viewed like the proper HH then just rename them to the same extention as the original HH files.

i just tested observing the tables and running poker track and it works fine.

I just created a new data base and set it to auto import from full tilt. no problem.

Thanks Broken Arrows, that makes them readable to me and poker tracker now.

Just for anyone else having trouble:

I had the Hand History Folder location set as
    c:/program files/full tilt/hand history/My_username

and i had my full tilt ----> Options
    >Hand History folder set as
    c:/program files/full tilt/hand history/

Which works fine and it displays my stats fine for tables im at but unless i change the Hand History Folder Location in poker tracker to the same as the full tilt it wont import the observed hands but it will import the hands for tables your sitting at.

Ive also noticed that these .tmp files although they can now be opened in notepad they still keep the .tmp extension and when you close them they disappear. This means that all the datamining data is gone. Does poker tracker store this information in its database as it collects the HH or does it need the information from the HH every time it loads. If so ill need to rename the extension on every file otherwise it keeps disappearing. In that case a program that can rename files in batches would be handy

I essentially want the data for poker office which allows imports so if i can just import it to pokeroffice before i close all the windows that would be fine im just not sure if i need to keep the hand historys on my hard disk or wheter it stores the info in its database??

There are two options for hand histories. The first is where you're saving the hands that you're playing at a table.

The second is under the observed hands option on the import from full tilt menu box. Change the folder under observed hands to c:program files/full tilt/hand history and leave the folder under regular hands to include your username.

You will now upload both hands where you're at the table and hands that you're observing.

The .tmp files are tables where you're observing so when you shut down Full Tilt those files disappear. PT holds them in it's database, but you can also use the "move hand history files to this location" option to hold onto them in the event of a PC crash. Just name a folder Poker logs or whatever and select that through the browse button to store all your HH's when you close the dialogue box.
