Check out the motor factor in supervalue in pamerstown 350,their willing to browse the books looking for matching numbers, better still if you have the old one with you. He spent 30 minutes matching numbers for my plugs/filters a while back and came up trumps. You never know, might be the same part used on a granada etc.

    Thanks Tom

Will do that ;) I really only need the diaphram part im sure it would be a part on other distributors.

I was looking at an article and I see the guy has done away with the vac advance and I am just wondering is there any experts out there can tell me about this:rolleyes: He used extra springs on the weights too

img055.jpgthis is part of what he wrote.

I will note that my original plan was to leave the vacuum diaphragm off, but noticed the vacuum advance plate wasn’t very stable without it, so I changed my mind and put it back on (just left the vacuum advance hose off).

    :D:D

Alan, If you can't sort anything here try Mustangs unlimited, I got a distrib from them along with a few bits, shipping and the parts price were very good.

Man that Mustang of yours is sweet
