looking for a copywindows Xp

    hi guys
    hope yer all well
    im looking to get a copy of windows xp with sp2 or greater
    i have installed bootcamp on my other laptop, my macbook, on which i want to install windows xp also.
    anyone know where i might get windows xp for as little as possible?
    by the wya, im over here in the US, actually in boston to be precise, so i have a lot more websites avaialbe to me!

    The fact your in the states just means you have better delivery options then Ireland :)

    Your best bet is a OEM version of XP, should be cheap enoughg

    I don't want to see any discussion of any non-legal means for getting a copy of XP.

    Sorry for falsely assuming your were looking for pirate material. Your post could be (and has obviously) interpreted as someone looking for pirate copys.

    to be honest i dont know a whole lot about computers, so id really appreciate if someone was to check out the link i posted there, to see if the copy of Xp in the link, is a full version and will work on my macbook alongside mac os x using bootcamp

    That should work fine. I don't see any mentions of it being an upgrade version so it must be the full version which is what you'll need.

    Good question here...

    Apple claim that you can't use an upgrade version because it's not possible to eject the CD during the text-based XP setup. If you used a USB CD-ROM drive to install would that work?
