    Is it on 31 March or 16th june?

    If 31st march I think 5 days notice is a bit of a rush.
    5 Weeks notice and it would be a sell out

    PokerEvents aim of this tournament is to send over a player to play in the WSOP MAIN Event!

    Here are terms of the tournament:

    PokerEvents will not be allowing any deals for this tournament.

    A WSOP 2007 package will be given out for every 32 entrants.

    Any remaining monies will be distributed as a cash prize.

    The cash prize may be split up in a deal.

    Winners of the package have the rights to sell it, but we ask that they contact PokerEvents before doing so.

    PokerEvents will work with the winner to find suitable flights as well as a hotel of their choice.

    Please note the breakdown of the package below:

    €10,000 WSOP 2007 package = $12,500(estimate)
    WSOP 2007 Main Event Ticket = $10,000
    Flights = $ 1,000
    Hotel = $ 1,000
    Spending Money = $ 500

    PokerEvents will be supplying the winner(s) with a cotton polo t-shirt. We ask the winner that they where this shirt while playing at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

    I haven't spoken to Fintan on this term as I only saw it tonight. And the word 'ask' is there. I will confirm exactly where PokerEvents stand on this over the next few days.

    €350 - €35reg = 315x32= €10080 euro

    package $12,500 = €10,800?

    Just my opinion but for someone to wear a logo in the WSOP main event I think it should be in some way sponsored?
    I would have no problem wearing a logo but usually theres sponsorship behind it?.

    Im going anyway and will be lookin for sponsor's.
    Pokerstars pay $1,000,000 for wearing there logos if you win the WSOP

    I did not do up the conditions. I will go through them with Fintan/Mark tomorrow and post the correct ones here.

    The tournament has only 72 seats available!

    We understand that the winner of the package may seek sponsorship elsewhere, especially the later you get in the tournament. We only ask that you wear it for the first day of the event.

    Why limit this to only 72 players? That was a weekend i had in mind with JP to run a similar satellite so i'll have to see what the interest is like.

    I think if u leave this open for more than 72, a lot more players will come. Surely you can hire more dealers and the room you have booked can accommodate more?

    PokerEvents have only 2 sections of the ballroom booked, the hotel have a prebooked meeting in the third. This limits space. To give a comfortable tournament we are limited to 8 tables (another 1 or 2 could be squeezed into the room).

    We are playing tables of 9 not the usual PokerEvents 10 as the WSOP is a 9 player per table tournament. So we are trying to make it as close to the WSOP as possible. Dealers is not a problem.

    Hi Steve, Could you please tell me what the arrangements for the Sng satellites will be in relation to structure? Will these be the usual wed nite (turbo) or a longer clock? Also, what is the starting stack?
    Cheers.

    Cheers.

    Satellites start from 1pm and will end at 4.30pm giving 3.5hrs to play the Sattellites.

    The longest possible clock will be given to each sattellite. If the last sattellite starts at 3.30 it would be a fast tournament as it would have to be over in an hour or so.

    It all depends on the numbers who arrive early if a table of ten was ready to go a 5k stack with 20min blinds would be possible.

    It will be the tournament directors decision. Under no circumstances can the sattellites cause the late starting of the main event

    Len I've put your name down
