Damaged LCD on Ixus 55

    I hace two scratches on the LCD on an Ixus 55.

    Any idea where I can get it repaired and how much I'd expect to pay?

    so are these scratches or cracks? are they leaking and distorting the screen?
    majority of camera manufacturers have fixed prices on repair of cameras.
    I looked at ur camera on dpreview.com. comparing it to fuji repair prices off top o my head it would be in the region of e120-140 which as a percentage of the camera is substantial so there may be better value in getting a new camera Im afraid.

    somebody here was looking to fix the lcd on an pentax optio a week or two back, i think the quote they got from pentax was about 110 euro

    Yera do it yourself corky! You can buy one for 65 bucks here and the instructions on how to do it are probably somewhere in here.

    I've used this supplier in the past and they were reliable.
