I have to organise getting a sat nav system for my dad's birthday in may, and I know nothing about cars or satellites .. can anyone reccommend any good ones?
komplett only have two on, and they're both around the 360E mark.. is that what I will be looking to pay for a decent one or should I be looking somewhere other than komplett?

TBH that one has TeleAtlas maps, i may be wrong regarding mapping as i was looking last year but what you want will be one running on Navtec mapping as they have the best irish coverage (claim 100% but once someone builds a new estate that wont be true) as of mid/late 06. Personally i like the look of the Nuvi range by Garmin which run on Navtec and so do all Tom Toms.
