I am intrigued as to what people should pay for these beasts here on our wonderful capatilistic (is there such a word, if not, there is now?) country??

I know these are retailing for £599 back in blighty

I think I have them on the system where i work for something like €950 but it's been a while since I checked out the price. never ordered one in so couldn't be sure.

Wasn't there one being sold on adverts.ie not so long ago for in and around the €400 mark?

Mike, if you're looking to pay in or around that for a printer, you should check out the snappily named HP B9180. It's been beating similarly priced competitors hands down in reviews, and I'm coveting one (if I had more desk space and the plastic wasn't a bit strained)

Have you a particular aversion to the word 'capitalist'?
