    Reviewing our current backup solution.

Does anyone here use Microsoft Data Protection Manager?

    http://www.microsoft.com/systemcenter/dpm/default.mspx

If so, what are your experiances with it? what did you use before this? (if you dont mind me asking) and what do you feel are its Pro's & Cons?

**This is not a sales pitch or anything of that nature. We currently use ARCserve v11 for our backups and have decided to opt for a new solution. MS DPM is getting pushed to us alot as being an excellent product since v2 came out but I would like to hear what regular joe soaps like myself think of it before I give a try. Normally I would do all the testing myself and find what works best but unfortunatly I dont have the time in this case as I have to get something up and running in the next two weeks.

After that if anyone else wants to see how we got on with it after the rollout feel free to Pm me (or post here) and Ill do my best to answer you.

This is a pretty hefty trawl up but perhaps says more about this product than anything - still pretty much unknown outsite the MS houses.
Anyone out there on 2010 using and how well you getting on with it.

Still fairly new to it and need a bit of feedback on where it sits in comparison to the various other offerings out there. Seems to be fairly machine and space heavy and fairly reliant on high upload bandwidth.
Any feeling about its fault tolerance.

Anyone had any significant problems with it?
