    Folks,

there are approx 4 "I am not getting any sex" threads going on at the moment, so heres a little advice for all those in the same boat or thinking of posting something similar.

If you are not getting any and you have discussed your issues with your partner, move on. Yes folks, it really is that easy (see sig)

If you are not getting any, and you havent talked to your partner, go talk to them. If you still arent getting any, see above.

Sex is a big part of any functional relationship. The absence of it only says there is something very wrong in the relationship or with your partner.

Guilt over dumping someone for the lack of sex is what puts most off dumping their partner over a "LITTLE" issue. Its not a little issue, its a fúcking huge issue. If someone asked you to remove your genitalia to stay in a relationship, you would have no guilt about moving on. Yet here you are, libido screaming and genitalia wanting but not getting any. Whats the point in having said organs if your not using them?

DONT let guilt stop you moving on. They show you NO guilt in not giving you any so why should you be plagued with guilt and remorse for dumping them over it?

YOUR purpose in life is to enjoy it to its fullest. Not to adopt someones problems. If you want to do that, become a therapist.

    K-

Some of this is very harsh imo.

Let's say I meet a girl tomorrow, we get on well, and after a few dates I decide to initiate some sexy time.

She suddenly becomes cold and distant, so we have a chat.

Turns out she had been raped/abused a few years earlier.

Now, she may not be ready for the physical intimacy just yet, which I'd be more than willing to accept.

By your rationale I have spoken to her, but I am still not 'getting any', so I should dump her? WTF!?

Incidentally, if this did happen, I take advice from your sig. The last line :p
