I highly doubt that. There'd be absolutely no reason for Locke to kidnap Ben now. If, as has been widely rumoured, Cooper is in fact the real Sawyer, then I'd say that Locke's got him tied up. The clips you've seen have been obviously heavily edited.

So Ben has Cooper in his tent with him? That does not sound like Ben. We will have to wait and see i suppose. Locke says:

"I snuck into Bens tent, and kidnapped him".

Locke may want answers from Ben but as you have said, it could be Cooper.

I'd have to go out on a limb and say it's not Ben. Those promo's are always edited to mislead and as mentioned, Locke has no reason to kidnap Ben and even less reason to get Sawyer to kill him. Plus, Locke said he can't do it. What would be stopping him from killing Ben? He has serious issues with his father, blowing up the comms shack and the sub in order to prevent him ever finding him and so on.

That 2nd clip is also obviously heavily edited, continuity in the scene between Sawyer and Locke is well off, there's bits missing in it. The mention of torture and beatings is a strange one, Ben did did kidnap Sawyer and lock him in a cage, but there was no torture that I recall.

Looking forward to this one but episode 20 looks like it'll be the real one to watch this season though.

there was no physical torture, but the whole heart attack/rabbit thing was pretty messed up.

Hmmm, the beating stuff...
While Ben didn't personally do that, he is the Others' leader, and was indirectly responsible for Pickett beating him.
But I doubt (if Cooper is the original Sawyer) that Cooper would have done that either.

Agreed, ep 20 seems to be lining up for a super ep. Really can't wait for it, but i am really looking forward to the finale :P. Just want to see what questions the writers will answer and what they are going to reveal.

Ok look if the Island is a test, then this latest thing of Locke kidnapping Ben...I don't think he meant cooper, is just another test for sawyer.
Remember the whole thing is a set of tests for the losties so that they might survive their ultimate judgement with smokie.

It was in the second lord of the rings trailer I think. I don't think I've even heard of Requim for a Dream.

The music is "Lux Aeterna", originally composed for Requiem for a Dream but it was completely remixed and re-recorded especially for The Two Towers trailer (Howard Shore wasn't too happy as I recall). That's the version used in the promo.

I liked it at the time but it's become WAY overused. I prefer the original version.

ditto. Really suited Requiem for a Dream, but after the AIB ad, LOTR, lost, everything under the sun, I'm getting a bit sick of it.

Yeah if Juliet turns out to be as evil as she seems to be now then the losties will never forgive Jack for making the losties trust her.

They seem to already be doubting him. She may be evil, but appears she's had her hand forced. The sub is gone so she *should* know there is no way off the island so why is she helping him, there is a piece of the puzzle missing.

I think she must still believe that Ben can get her off the island. She must know there is a different way off the island.

Isn't Desmond's yacht still around somewhere? If Michael and Walt managed to get away in a boat by keeping to a particular heading then the yacht could surely be used too. Either that or they could build some sort of raft.

Since they know how to get away from the island it's just a matter of finding a suitable boat.

Desmond's boat is gone, the Others captured it at the start of season 3. And I suspect that heading Ben gave Michael was the location of the sub, which brought Michael and Walt the rest of the way. I still think the sub is the only way off the island.

We still dont know if it is possible to leave the island by means of a raft or boat. But yes you are right, the yacht would be still around as i cant see Ben destroying it.

Yup agreed, it is another means of escape. We will have to see if Ben will really let people go. I highly doubt it.

LOST is the best show on tv at the minute ive followed all the episodes and i dont know where its going or where it will end as for Evangeline Lilly that Charlie guy better watch his back im thinkin gof taking a trip to Hawaii on the summer and take her off that island!!!!
