Hiya, Sorry if this has been done before, looking for help.
I have creative zen touch, and I have just bought a new dell PC with windows
32 bit Vista. But I cannot get the creative softwear to load. Any one else
has run into this, and can you help. We have two of the creative units in the house, and I hope we will be able to keep using them.

You need to download updated versions of the software packages that are compatible with the new operating system.

I didn't bother installing the software for the touch (as I think the software is crap, it only worked on 1 out of 3 machines I used it on)

I just plugged it in and it worked (vista premium 32 bit)

I've bought a bought a new dell PC with windows
32 bit Vista premium too, and the creative just won't be recognised at the USB I've installed all the updates and all drivers and still nothing, I have the creative disk and have installed and uninstalled about 3 times but it still won't recognise it.

Same with WMP it just won't recognise it, anyone any suggestions

Here's how I got mine working, the usb ports at the front of the computer are part of a hub which might not work but when I used the back USB posts "Bingo" recognised it straight away.

I have tried plugging the thing in every usb port, but no use, always the same answer. By the way, are all usb ports on the PC not the same, and if not, what is the differance? The machine has two at the front and 4 at the rear. Three of these are already used for mouse, keyboard and speakers.
