    Hand 1: Fine
    Hand 2: Fine
Hand 3: Preflop is not great, postflop is fine.
Hand 4: Vs this guy I prefer checking turn and calling any river.
Hand 5: River is very thin, but I think its ok.
Hand 6: I much prefer a bluff shove to that bet. Imo shove > check > small bet
Hand 7: You said it yourself, if he was aggro postflop then the river call is prob fine.
    Hand 8: Fine.
Hand 9: Hmmm this one is marginal too, I usually just call because his line is weird, though I often see **** like a weak ace with this line.

1/ I check turn and call or value bet river. But betting is fine ... when he c/r on the turn i fold all that we beat is JJ.

    2/ Fine

3/ I don't think your deep enough to justify a call preflop with your position and no one else having entered the pot. Fine otherwise.

    4/ Surely your either WA/WB here , i don't understand the bet.

5/ I really don't see what you get a call from on the river. Don't like the bet.

6/ Emmm ... Fair play. Not really sure what to make of this.

7/ Meh i am a nit and fold.

8/ I am nitting it up again fold river.

    9/ Again i fold river

Sorry too tired for the other threads , you don't seem to be having a good run lately.

Can i ask why you play on prima ? , i have not played that high but played some 2/4 and 3/6 their and found it tougher than other sites.

Plus look at the hands Dougee posted ....... You seem to be missing out :)

any more comments on these hands?

    hand 1: looks fine

hand 2: call getting >2-1 but id expect to be behind quite a bit.

hand 3: shove turn? too shallow to call p/f.

hand 4: if you're gonna stack off check turn call any river is a way better line.

    hand 5: too thin.

    hand 6: i give this up.if i bet i shove.

hand 7: fold.$165 doesnt look like a bluff.

hand 8: looks fine.i bet flop most of the time.

hand 9: i think he has QK/QJ here most of the time.

too many hands to comment on .
have you cosidered maybe only putting 3 up at a time?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,296 ✭✭✭valor

it just takes a few minutes longer and doesnt clog up the board as much with my downswing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,563 ✭✭✭sikes

h2/ I would raise more on the turn if we are happy to stack off a scary river. Its unlikely we are going to induce a 3bet push from an overpair on the turn on that board, however, I guess he is aggro enough to maybe turn his AAetc with a club into a bluff on the river.

Out of all the streets in those hands, I find this the most interesting/tough, need to know how much you have 3bet him etc, and how often he calls.

I haven’t looked at any of the reply’s thus far but here is my take on them anyway:
    Hand 1:
What do you put him on?
Do you have reasons to believe that he would make the turn play with a hand that you have beat?if so then its fine if not then it’s a fold for me.

    Hand2:
    looks fine.

    Hand 3:
Why aren’t you raising the turn bet?
There are too many cards that can kill your action or turn your hand in to a second best hand on the river.

    Hand4:
    This is a though one.
Based on the description of villain I think you were right to call the flop bet.
I don’t like the turn shove though .even though there is a flush draw there but I think a check is better than a shove.
If you think he is good enough to fold a bad A there then by all means it’s a good push but if he is calling there with any A then I don’t like it that much.

    Hand5:
I would prefer a limp behind here as oppose to raise.
I would raise it from the CO or button or I would open raise from any where but with the pot already open I would prefer to limp with this.

I don’t like the bet on the river at all.
Every draw got there .you will deffo have to fold to a reraise as your hand cant possibly be good. basically I don’t think your hand will get called by any hand that you have beat and as auch I don’t like the bet .

    Hand5:
    I don’t like this .
I don’t think he will fold anything to be honest.
You flat calling him on the flop tells him his hand is good if he has any pair.
Unless you often flat call here with QQ,KK,AJ,AA here and then take that line on the turn which I don’t think it’s a good line.
The 6 does not change anything on the turn so things stay pretty much the same.
    What are you representing here?
On the river I don’t think he will fold any J here ,he may fold a 9 so I suppose it has some merits but I think I would just raise or fold the flop.

    Hand7:
I still would not call that river.

#8 this guy is 27/11/1.8 over 560 hands

    Hand8:
Bet the flop some times here.

    Hand9:
    standard

    Results

#1 he had 65o for the turned gutshot, I think my play is fine vs this villain
#2 he rivered the flush with 43c, again my play is fine
#3 he rivered a backdoor flush with 63s [straight flush] the reason I didnt shove the turn [which is standard] is because this guy is a major league idiot and I think he has 2 cards here, im gonna call a shove on any river so id rather let him keep betting. Play here again is fine with the exception of preflop which should be a fold
#4 this guy had 99. my turn bet was stupid. this guy is so aggressive i think he would bet the turn again with anything that had no showdown value so when he checks I think he has KK beaen. check turn see what happens on river is infinitely better than my turn shove
#5 I think this bet is fine vs this villain, he will call me with all worse 2 pairs, 1 pair often too and I wont get bluff raised here. alternative is c/f. he had 97
#6 i pussied out and checked behind, he tabled j10o ftw. I think river bluff here is good but a shove is best. overall best is just folding on the flop though
#7 i should have folded, very stupid. He had AQ
#8 I think is fine, He had KJ
#9 is a fold, he had A10 for a boat
