Ship the sherbert. I'd be shocked if he was limping TT or QQ.

yep I push too, I'd say he probably has 2 pair, a draw, or similar. limp call a raise with TT or QQ??? I doubt it.

This isn't a very interesting hand based on the fact its pretty much 'O sure go broke with the set hand'

The thing is the reason I've posted it is because since I've been playing hold em for a good while now Ive grown used to certain cold deck situations, got used to certain patterns of when i've gone broke and vice versa.

Recently Ive been a little more theoritical and theoritically I maybe should go broke here. The way this hand played out what am I beating and whats beating me?

    board 10 2 Q

loosing to 10 10 and QQ
Beating based on what he could raise with
    K J,K Q,Q 10,A Q,(10 2),(Q 2)

I'd also like to add I ended up playing this hand very badly as each of the tables I was multi tabling manged to put me in tougher spots so plus EV play manged to be eleviated.

It is the old school bull**** idea of poker going with your gut,but in this situation my gut told me I was beat,I thought and thought which aided me in playing the hand badly.

Pretty bad read as these two dont really got together. I'd be amazed if he had 1010 or QQ here. More than likely Q10 or KJ so stick your money in while your ahead and make him call you while he's behind.

Just for the purists out there. Its losing not loosing :p

I phrased the read wrong I think. My read is he plays premium hands but has a tendency to limp call a bit to much with hands Im predicting like ,A J,99,88...Get me.Im not fully sure of the term used to describ such a player:rolleyes:

How did you intend to stack your opponent by flopping a set if you don't like him raising at any point in the hand?

Yeah call is better, don't give the raiser a chance to get away from an overpair easily

    I actually ended up calling.
The pre flop raiser folded and the turn came a Q.As I said in the previous post havoc then took place on my otherr tables so A mislclcik:rolleyes: helped me in calling villains all in,as I did I was not surprised when he showed pocket 10s.
