Bascially AIB are sponsering a competition for CTYI people where they write an essay/fictional piece on a set topic and the winner gets a prize (lappie I think for seniors) and half their CTYI fees paid.

Ooh. That's quite good. Damn nevermoredom! What are the topics? They've moved up from the Deloitte scholarships then.

Me too but I should get going on it.

It has to be about global warming and there's four different formats - story, newspaper article, essay, poem I think. But I don't quite remember.

    Global Warming

    by Kevin Conlon

Oh plant, oh plant, why are you wilting?
    It must be global warming.
Oh seas, oh seas, why are you rising?
    It must be global warming.
Oh Holland, oh Holland, why are you vanishing?
    It must be global warming.
Oh Al Gore, oh Al Gore, why won't you shut up?
It must be global warming (or maybe a clever campaign to generate support for an upcoming Presidential candidacy bid, but for the purposes of the convention of my poem I'll overlook this).

If anyone wants to use it, feel free.
