    Hi there,

I'm looking to decode the vin number from my car but seem as it's a 1980
it has the old style vin number instead of the 17 digit umber used after 1981.
Does anyone here know of a website or somewhere that might be able to help me ?

    Thanks

    OCJ:D

Capri should be simple.....if its UK built it should have BB in it for Halewood,I think German built is G something, then a 5 figure number which will co-incide with original engine number and then letters then denote the month and year of build, something like that...
