Regular reader but irregular poster, so tought id post up some selctions for todays meeting. Im heading out for the day so hopefully it will be a good days punting and a bit of craic.

    1) 2.50 Midnight Gift- interesting form on good ground and has done well when a big outsider in such conditions. Very open race and am looking for value and this I feel is the one. I rate O' Regan too.

    2) 3.30 Gunnison- Again good form in these conditions like Bobs Pride but going off a significantly lighter weight. Eoin Griffen has done well in Ireland this year and could spring yet another surprise here.

    3) 4.05 Racing Deman- Not overly confident with this selection but the main race tomorrow is most difficult in my opinion. The jolly is very suspect imho and difficult to catch at the right time, if he wins tomorrow so be it but I wont be backing. Beef or Salmon is another difficult one to catch and I will continue to oppose today. Kingscliff had the prospects of being a trully great Gold Cup horse and if he could recapture some form would be a nice bet too. Racing Demon is one for the future for sure and I think tomorrow might be just the test at the right time in an interesting race.

    4) 5.15 Tot o' whiskey- Again strictly on value has to have a chance. 10/1 is a big price for a horse who was well touted to win in Cheltenham in the corresponding race last month. Slightly disapointed that day but fancy this one has the bouncebackability to score again

not a great punting card. only had a samll bet on sophocles to try make up for not collecting the win part of my bet at cheltenham. Hopefully will act on the ground as he's flat bred but horses who finished 2nd in the festival bumper have a shocking record if they run again the same season.
