    Always hated Jet Set Willy. It was just stupidly tough and no fun whatsoever as a result.

    I played this along with project future and booty back on my old speccy. It was just to hard as far as I was concerned so I lost interest. It does have an interesting history though what with being impossible to finish with out poke codes.
    I'll probably give this Java version a go anyway so thanks for the link:)

    There were a lot of old games like that...absurdly difficult. I owned Jet Set on my Amstrad CPC but all I could ever get to was maybe two or three rooms....I must have never seen most of the game. It was impossible. What a waste.

    fair play to them for making the online version, but JSW/manic miners etc are really overrated games - although the way the speccy lovers go on about them you'd think they were the holy grail of feckin gaming!
    - give me miner 2049er/Montezuma's revenge or bruce lee instead!

    oh yeah, i agree. I hated jet set willy, vastly overrated with hard as nails gameplay. the online version is much easier though, and a giggle with lots of people online.
