With so many music fans here , and so many gig photos , why don't we post our favorite gig photo --
Mine is from a few years back at Marley Park, an all time classic band , with most members now dead -- so in memory of Johnny Thunders and the rest here are the infamous New York Dolls

a copy of that will cost you approx €2000

it's on an external hard drive which is dead. the data recover places i've asked quote between €1000 and €10,000 to recover all the data from it

for €2000 though you can have every BYOP shot I have on the hard drive ;-)

Hard to pick one, I suppose on a technical level I like this one, light looks good I reckon. But I've loads more that aren't on flickr and that bring me back to a particular gig.

I got a second hand manual focus 1.4.

It's a bit of a step up from the old Minolta compact digital I've been using for gigs til now!

agree, some great shots here, i have much to aspire to -- one general point , is rock photography one area where ps is a disadvantage -- i like 70s style rock photos , early stones , early punk and late seventies Jamaican reggae stuff -- even the 70s Bob Dylan and Marley stuff has a roughness to it , that i wonder has ps allowed too much gloss and perfection and disabled the stale ale and smoke photography , of say early ramones records -- just a point.
