    The front looks very much like a Vauxhall Viva.

    Never seen one of those in the flash though.

    Yes they were sold in Ireland but were a poor seller. One of our neighbours had one in the late 70's and it was by far the classiest car on our road.

    Pity it has been repainted as most were either gold or bronze. I would not go near that car though as I am sure it would be impossible to get parts for it. ;)

    I think that the 1998 Hyundai Sonata bears a modern resemblence to the chrysler from the rear.

    This car was also sold in Australia as a Chrysler Centura. Before the car was launched in I970, Chrysler was going to sell the car as a Humber in the UK but then dropped it at the last minute.

    I think the story surrounding the 180 and other Chrysler products of the time is fascinating. The whole Chrysler-Talbot debacle made British Leyland seem like a well managed and progressive organisation.
