Correct Number Plate 1971

    Does anyone know what the correct numberplate pattern was in 1971. I'm restoring a 911 which will be on ZV plates but was wondering whether the plate should be black digits on a white background or silver on black etc and also someone has said to me that the rear plate should be black digits on a red plate? does anyone know?

    the plates back then were reflective,white plate with black letters on front and red plate with black letters on rear. I think the silver letters on black old style look better, we still put them on the cars back then too.:)
