    Hi All,
We are considering moving to Charlesland and were wondering if you lot could give us some info on commuting to town. Specifically, how long of a walk is it to the Dart? We have driven it and esitmated that it would be twenty minutes, is that accurate? How often does the shuttle bus go from Charlesland and what hours does it operate?
    Thanks a million...

from charlesland there is a bus that matches rush hour darts to the station.
it is included in the management fees.

that walk is normally about 25 minutes.

the dart trip itself takes 55 minutes on the dart and 45 minutes on the commuter train.

if your a really enthusiastic commuter the cycle takes little over an hour from grestones to dublin if you have a nice bike.

Hi there, we find the 84X great for commuting in and out of Dublin. It generally takes about 1 hour (maybe a little less) from the top of the estate to Stephen's Green and flies down the N11/Stillorgan Dual Carriagway. Unfort these bus's just operate during rush hour but even still a handy way of getting around.

Agree with you Rebekah, I find myself using the 84X in favour of the Shuttle/Train more and more now.

The one that comes by at 8am takes about 60 - 65 minutes to get to the Green, the one back at 18:00 gets into Charlesland at about 19:05 usually.
