love the 2nd and third. The rays from the sun in the 2nd one are fantastic..

The first 2 in particular are excellent but the horizon of the first looks to be off slightly.

The first three are absolutely excellent.. What kind of processing did you do on them??? great work

heh.. love those shots that capture the "oh ****" moment where someone realises they're too close to something for their own good...

Thanks everyone! :D I wasn't sure about the first one myself so I'm glad people like it.

Morlar: I was sure I levelled the horizon, but now that you mention it, it does look a little off. I'll have another look tonight.

shepthedog: The processing for each one was a little different, I usually use a few adjustment layers to get the look I'm after. (If you want to compare what the originals looked like before processing, you can roll your mouse over the "original" link at the top of this page and this page. I haven't uploaded the others yet but I'll put them up soon.)

rymus: Yeah, I got great satisfaction out of that, particularly because an earlier wave had caught me off guard and I got absolutely soaked!

    Thanks again for the feedback.

it's easily the best of the four.

Thanks magicbastarder. Sometimes it's difficult to take a step back and look at a shot you've just worked on critically so it's interesting to see how different shots appeal to different people.. thanks for the feedback.

Love that blue tone, nice change from the usual warm sunset colours you get on beach shots. Cracking stuff.

Super stuff. I have seen a couple on your site already and meant to comment there. As an ad for your site it is a definite bookmark for all here. I love the "before" and "after" link. Fair play!!

Where can I learn all this post processing malarky? I have a bit of PS knowledge but it extends to using "auto levels" usually.

The difference it makes to the shots on your site is amazing. Well done.

Number 2 is great. At first I was kind of bored by it until I spotted that tiny figure in the distance, which completely changed everything.
