    Hi Friends,

My partner and I have planned to tour Cork and Kerry between 28th of Apr and 2nd of May. We like visiting historic and scenic (less crowded) places. We also enjoy trekking. We would be driving to these places. Hope weather won't be a spoilsport.. :)

We have gone through all possible websites and Lonely Planet guidebook. Our plan is roughly as follows:

    * Drive to Kerry from Dublin and spend 2 days there visiting Dingle peninsula (Inch beach, Slea Head, Dunbeg fort, trekk Brandon) and the Blasket island.

    * Then drive to Cork and visit Blarney castle, Fota Wildlife Park and Jameson Midleton Distillery.

Any suggestions/information/precautions about the route/places to visit/anything are welcome.

    Thanks in advance
    The Hegdes
