    Hiya,
Im heading over to New York on a J1 visa on my own on May 21st and Im looking for anyone interested in sharing an apartment to try keep the cost down.
Anyone either going over at some stage this summer and want to share or know where I can get in touch with people who want to share?
    Cheers,
    Carol

    Hey,

Myself and a friend (both blokes) are also flying in on May 21st. He's on a J1 - I'm not. We're flying back on July 30th, but only plan on staying in NY for 6-8weeks and then moving off on a road trip inland for the remainder.
I thought I'd post because we haven't organised accommodation yet, so anythings an option at the moment.

I've only started looking for places to stay tonight. Started off looking at 2 bedroom apts in Brooklyn. Hoping to organise at least the first months accommodation by the end of this month.

Anyway, like I said anythings an option at the moment, so feel free to PM me.

    Eddie.

p.s. www.craigslist.com is a good site for a comprehensive list of places....and other stuff, but I did get a bit bogged down in it - spent almost 3 hours on it there tonight!
