Good card but not a great punting card.

I'll probably back ebaziyan in the novice hurdle. Clopf looked very good before the royal bond but on actual form is scandalously short.

Novice chase is very interesting race between aces four and snowy morning. No bet for me but will be a good one to watch.

At least it is a lot better than the so called preview on RTE 2 at the moment.. Nearly forgot there was racing on...
Long time since I have seen a programme so feeble in content... previews are usually about the racing coming up..

Classic... The most racing we get to see is clips of races in the play out... Well that was a waste of half an hour..

Always thought racing previews were about the racing (during the festival) not how presenters turn themselves out..

Back to study of that card now.....

What are the odds Mr Gleeson will wear the recommended attire on Friday? ;)

probably the best info given in the whole half hour LOL...

In the novice chase I cant see past Aces Four in the 4.40. Only horse to give Denman a run for his money until blundering three out at Chelt in the R&S Alliance, would have been very close finish otherwise, made a mockery of some top class rivals in chase at Aintree (Yes Sir finished some 14 lengths behind that day but won valuable race at Ayr on Sat) touted as one for the Gold Cup next year - (25s in Hills - had some of that e/w) Snowy Morning will be no pushover having finished 4l in front of Aces at Aintree but every chance of reversing that form as stumble 3 out cost Aces a dozen lengths. Ferdy Murphy is banging in the winners which is always an added bonus. This is prob my fav horse in training and will be having my biggest bet of the year on him tomorrow - Aces to jump his rivals into the ground. :D

Elsewhere will have a sneaky few quid on River City to upstage newmill and Nickname.

Bit late for todays racing but rain now forecast for late moning till early hours of Wednesday morning on Sky (tends to be more accurate than Irish forecasts).. :)

Dont think Mr Cantwell on TV3 will get the ground for his Nap of the day "Nickname" though...
