PC to multi TVs

    Apologies if this seems a stupid question, Im a newbie when it comes to this.

    At the minute I have my PC connected to my TV in my sitting room.
    Not a problem at the minute.
    Im moving to a new house (new build), and I dont want the PC
    in the sitting room but I still want to connect.

    I'd also like to be able to have a connection in the kitchen too.

    ???
    All I can think of is running really long cable, but havent a clue
    about splitting it.

    Any advice ?

    You can split the connect by purchasing a Splitter box that will consist of 1 input and 2 outputs. The connectors that you would use are F connectors.

    Should be able to purchase the lot in Woodies or B&Q

    Would you be able to display two different things using this set up or how would you go about that e.g. two different movies one on each TV

    You cant is the easy answer.

    You would have to have multiple machines or clients serve each display.

    If you split the VGA output from the PC it is still the same one PC everyone else sees.

    If you want to share movies across a network the best thing you can do is to buy a media streamer like the Netgear EVA8000 for each TV, it supports all the popular & latest video/audio codecs hence the higher price.
