    Hey,

Can anybody recommend a good external HDD that uses a SATA drive inside the case? I want to be able to swap in a 200gb drive I have from time to time as I don't have access to my desktop for the summer and there's stuff I'd like to get at from time to time on one of the drives. I can't seem to find any information on what kinda drives are in the enclosures on komplett, etc. Anybody able to shed some light on it for me?

    I have one of these:
    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=326875

I change it between a 500gb sata, and a 320gb ide all the time, Takes a few mins to open and remove the hdd, but its easy to do, 6 screws in all ( i lost 2 )

    Thanks for that Anti.
Anybody know about the ones that come with hard drive already like this one? Not a big deal but I'm gonna get a new hard drive anyway so might as well get them together if possible :D

Tis a good drive, i have a 320gb version(had). I dropped the caddie :( but the drive still works no hassle.

I would also recommend the WD Mybook. It's currently being discussed in Bargain Alerts, linky.

Just to confirm, the drive in these Western Digital MyBooks are SATA drives are they?
edit: And is it (relatively) easy to open? ie. no hammer required :)

Just making sure before I spend the cash. Although I'm thinking of just buying them separately now. Think it works out cheaper.
