Shower problem

Hi,I was wondering if anyone has any advice. We moved into an apartment recently, and due to a problem with the bath taps/shower unit, we had to get a new set of taps and shower(not electric-runs off the immersion). Now the new set is fine, but unfortunately a heavy metal shower head was put on it,which doesn't really work with the holder on the wall ,weighing it down, with the water running over the taps.Bought a new shower head in Argos yesterday, just a basic €11 job, which fits fine, but the flow of water seems to cut off when you put it up on the holder and run the hot water. This wasn't a problem with the earlier head.Help anyone? Thanks!
