They look great Baz! Very honest - I like the realism. We did some of that route on Saturday (got the burnt out van and the kids with the horse and cart - was half expecting them to charge me for taking their photo :) ). Have to say you're a brave man wandering around by yourself. And I'm allowed to say that because I'm from there ;) I'd love to shoot Dolphin House. I know it has a bit of an unwarranted rep, but I'd still be dodgy. And under *any* bridge along there! I know far too much about what goes on.

    Its a great set. Different..

Thanks , the realism was what i was looking for , i fealt a bit like an unwanted intruder around the Barn , and was threatened by some junkies .. all for art ;)
The problem shooting in hostile environments , is composing the shot and camera settings, both correctly and quickly, i tend to panic in the rush .. but i think after dropping my camera , the fear went . Camera seams to be working ok, thankfully, bit dirty , and thankfully had the uv filter on, which will remain on :)

Yeah there are some nice ones there. I don't think I'd have the guts to go down there with a camera. I just got a 2nd hand Nikon F4 the other day and I felt incredibly selfconscious wandering around with it, its a bit of a brick. My wee little FE2 is much more unobtrusive. I reckon there are some good shots to be had up around the liberties area, james' gate not-withstanding. Last time I was hurrying through the place with my camera stuck firmly in my bag I was scoping it out. Where is that graveyard ?

Think your right Sinead, street runs parallel to Thomas street , i was scurring from Guinness brewery in the rain back to Francis street, in a tee shirt , and just noticed this graveyard which kind of looked out of place, but quaint.
