If you wanted some blurness and softness in the image, you succeded :-) But it could be more "romanticly sweet".
If not, it is not technically perfect.
    But I like it!

Yeah, It was a bit rushed. I've replaced it. Is this any better?

    Thanks Sinead.

The previous one looked a little better. However this one is also nice.

It's a great shot Danny. I would be pleased if I had taken it.

you should probably give up photography altogether. And give your nice L's away. I could probably take them off your hands...

I like the new one. Lovely detail in the feathers. Nice to see it doing something else swan-ish and not just sitting/floating about. Also looks quite dramatic on the black background, although, it'd be nice to have a bit more 'ground' on the right hand side, just a tiny bit of detail like you've got under the bird itself.

I think it's a real challenge to shoot such a common subject and that's why its worth attempting. Well done that man.

On the other hand, if you were going to be giving it all up I'm sure I could give a lens with IS a particularly good home ;)

I see I'm not the only person trying to emulate Noah's style. :p

    Great photo Danny

    Thanks for the encouragement gang.

"Emulate"? That will never happen. The more I look at Noah's stuff the more amazing it gets. I have a strong affinity for the deep blacks though and will keep experimenting.

Julie, thanks for that suggestion. I will do that. It had crossed my mind that the water could do with a bit of expanding and your idea makes perfect sense.

The Ls are staying where they are. I haven't got to use them yet during my shooting season ;)
