Something Rockin'....!

So I'm back looking for a 4pc punk/hardcore/funk/post-hardcore band... Musician skateboarders/surfers/anyone into anything extreme or anyone who just has a passion for plain awesome rocking music, can jump in to give their lifestyle some beats, rhythm n music!...

Its all bout simple living it out, rocking it out.. having a good time.. some good moshpits, some head banging, some crowd surfing, some more rocking!... u get it....!

looking for the usual, guitarists, bassists, drummers...

i play guitar, sing, write lyrics and i'm a sound engineer.. so i can manage almost all of the recording stuff too... with the singing and lyrics...

so yeah.. the music is just not restrained to punk n post-hardcore... metal, classic-rock, progressive or anyone with influences from any genre can jump in... if the music is good, its gonna rock anyway regardless the genre!!

So, anyone looking for something similar, you know what to do!

sounds cool... looks like you've got the right attitude towards it....

but before things go any further, i'm 19... so it'ld be convienient if u're around that age group too... although exceptions can always be made if u've got the right attitude towards the band n music...

another thing, u've gotta be in the band, you've gotta rock!! and rock as in not musically skilled, more importantly you've gotta be able to put up a good stage show... Its gonna be mostly about putting up good rocking gigs n most important having a good time... so its almost important you need to get along well...

i know i'm being picky, but i'm just trying to form a serious band thats got the potential to really make it big n rock out the rock scene!

im loving the sound of that man! im a guitarist. ive been playin for about seven years and ive been in a good few bands so i have giggin experience. my band isnt going so well at the moment and i wanna get into a real ROCKIN band who wanna have fun!! i love giggin and just writin new stuff!! im from ratoath but i can get into town no problem for practice.( IM NOT A PISS TAKER BY THE WAY, I NEED SOME HIGH QUALITY ROCK MUSIC FOR ONCE!!)LOL cheers, adrian

I would be interested in this, I'm really into hardcore/punk/a little post-hardcore. I play guitar and bass, would be willing to play either in a band as long as I'm playing music I like. Age 21, living in Dublin city centre.

hmm... nice to see the response....

the most important thing here is to be able to get on well in the band.. and with the right attitude... its more about the music as a part of the lifestyle and living it up...

it'll be good if u're under 23... dedication is needed... experience and skills dont count much... the right attitude towards the music is the most important...

And my main influences are bands like Rise Against, Thrice, Rage Against The Machine, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana and the usual skate/surf punk/rock bands...
Thats where i'm aiming my music to be around.. Plans are to get stuff started soon n get gigging, then released a
self produced, DIY, indipendent label EP and an album (thats where the soundengineering skills come to play). From there its just gonna be a way up...

So if your musical tastes matches this, u've got the right attitude and u are really up for some serious rocking fun... then PM me with more details...
just need 1 guitarist and 1 drummer... might also need a bassist... but i think i've already got one...

so anyway... looking forward to some positive response!

P.S. and yeah, you should be up for some plain crazy fun time apart from just making music.. and going to the pub for a drink is not what i meant as having a fun a time....
anyway... its not really that complicated.. its pretty simple in reality!

Yeah I live in Lucan, me and my friend are both 23 y/o. Do you have any kind of example of yourself singing? As I said before, we are really going to get started at the end of may/start of june. So in a months time basically- but before that it should be possible to have at least one or two jam sessions; if you're still interested tell me when and where you'd be interested in practicing, weekends only though.
