    Thinking of organising a trip out to Irelands eye for a bit of landscape and bird photography and wanted to know who would be intrested.

    ======== Details ==========
    Date : May 27th (Sunday)
    Cost : 15Euro for boat trip
    Where ; Howth harbour around 10:30 for the boat but you can grab a boat back whenever you wish.

    More info about the birds

    Oh and of course food and drink after.

    So who's intrested???

    Hurray, at least something I don't have to attend! :-) Having only 200mm zoom and not having a tripod, and not having a clue what to capture there.
    However, outdoor ham and eggs, fresh...

    I'm sure between us that we could divvy out a few lenses. I don't mind sharing anyway. So long as the shaggin' election is over I'm on.

    Ah sure count me in provisionally ( have a strange feeling I have something on, but can't see anything...). The photography is only a small part of these days out for me anyway :D

    You wont need anything over 300mm for most shots. Hey it's not just birds you can get some great landscapes and macro's

    Have a look at the map
    Here

    The boat is only about 15 minutes

    I could be tempted, purely because I hate missing out on anything ;)

    Sure there must be stuff to shoot other than birds at 20 metres away though...?

    I'd be up for it ... just posted an altenative outing in the same period ... sorry about that ... did not see this one before posting ... and had promised elven and sineadw to post it last Saturday after the meet up ...

    Rymus is suggesting combining the two and making a weekend of it ... could be on for that also ....
