    Bob is his name.

(Joking) there is no official name other than a 'photographers assistant' or something ruder if they are unlucky.

Assistant. A studio/glamour/portrait photographer cannot be a PRO without one (or more) assistent(s).
Even big companies refuse to ask you to do some job for them if they find that you doesn't have an assistent. Personal experience - I was pretending to be an assisten for my friend. And his job was to take landscape pictures of the company building.

normally "oi" or "c'mere" or something similar. good to have a multitaskable assistant too. Mine is an assistant/manager/purchasing critic/financial controller all for one measly salary.

not quite yet... when the job title changes to wife, the main roles of the job turn to Financial Controller & Executive Purchasing Manager... or so I'm led to believe.
