I was there in Feb. Got Aerlingus return for €65 per person inclusive of all taxes etc. There are some really nice Hotels like http://oliviahoteles.hotelsearch.com/oliviaplaza/?gclid=CLrHlInp1osCFQswlAodLDCWVQ

for about €70 per person per night.
Its is an excellent location and really nice

Check out both aerlingus.com and clickair.com for flights. Try lovingbarcelona.com if you want to get an apartment to stay in rather than a hotel. Barcelona is a rad city. FACT (based on experience, not on factual evidence)

Edit: wouldn't touch ebookers unless you enjoy getting raped.

Barcelona is gorgeous and there is so much to do. Went last september for 90 return ryanair flights, and got an apartment for 11 days for 500 euro, for two of us.

Bargain hunting online can take hours, but is totally worthwhile.

For the past 4 or 5 years every holiday or weekend away I've been on I've booked online, and I've used ebookers when they've been the cheapest I could find, and avoided them when they haven't. Like almost all internet booking sites it depends on when and where you're going, so I think a sweeping generalistion like that is a bit unfair.
