I draw the table of death. 6 of the top ten chip leaders are at my table, I start the day with 21k, average is 28k yet I am the table shortstack by a distance, next lowest is 35k. Blinds 600/1200 + 100 ante.

For the first two rounds I have junk and blind down to 15k before picking up a set of blinds and antes with an uncalled all in.

UTG who has played a few hands losing more than he has has won opens for 3k with 30k back and Barry Neville calls in the cut off with around 70k back. Barry's range is quite wide, weak ace, KT-KQ or any pair less than TT, He reraises AK,TT+ almost 100% of the time.

I have AQo on the big blind and have 16k after posting BB. Auto push?

Looks like a push alright, do you have 15k or 15k+600+1200+800 = 17.6k, i.e. Round of Blinds + Antes

Although either way probably doesn't make any real difference.

I'm beered up... very beered up... but my first instinct was to fold this.
Edit: I might call, but I really don't like a push.

Don't know about AQ but if it was QK i'd definitely ship it

I dont know here Mike, the preflop raise from early position is a real underraise, so he's crying out for action, the call is weak at best, wide range here, I dont think you can be ahead much and might run into AK or be a tight coinflip at best, theres a lot in the pot, but I cant see a push getting through, a call for me and if I hit hard check raise, other wise a easy fold on the flop

I would rather a push with Aq with position after a raise from a aggressive player in front of us.

by the way, very wp. nice to see you up for day 2

I want to be called by Barry as I think am ahead or racing at worst and with his stack he cant really fold. Obv I am happy if he folds too.

I forgot to mention all the hands that UTG lost he played out of position so I didnt think he would call, he folded sharpish and I lost the race against Barry's 99.

Yeh, I hate a action raise in early position, very hard to put a hand on it, depends on how bad the player is, but it was always a coin flip for you.

You got a good chance to double up if you connect and you rather aggressive play than passive, so nothing wrong with that.

I push here. Things are desperate and if the early position raiser doesn't call you then you have to fancy your chances of winning the pot uncontested/getting it in with very positive equity.

I push here aswell. Based on the average stk and your chip position, i'm happy to race here and give myself a shot at going deeper rather than fold and maybe not get a better chance to double up

correct move mike ul, no point getting blinded off waiting for a better spot than this to push

you know you are supposed to get looser and more aggro when drunk?
