Hi guys, Just need a quick answer

I got a new car, its covered on my hibernian insurance and i have windscreen cover. Its got a crack in the windscreen

I heard they replace it for free.

Now the question is do they put it down as a claim or not:rolleyes:

As some companies do and some dont.

I would like answers from people who have actually got there windscreen replaced from hibernian as i would like a accurate answer

    Thanks in advance

The thing to be careful with is that you might still get your NCD cert saying you have so many years NCD despite making a claim for a windscreen, but your NCD cert could have a little note on it to say you made a claim for a new windscreen. Which means your NCD will still be valid for Hibernian, but other insurance companies might not accept it.

You should ring them and get a firm promise that there'll be no mention of the windscreen claim anywhere on your NCD cert.
