Power on w/Dimension c251

Went fiddling about with a friends Dell Dimension c251 today trying to see if I could shoehorn another hard drive in it (simple answer, no).
Put it back together and now it won't turn on. The "AUX PWR" LED on the motherboard lights up yellow when it's plugged in, but no POST, beeps, fans spinning up. Nothing. Everything seems to be plugged in, tried reseating the main PSU connector a few times and double checked the various molex connectors to no avail. This is a brand new tower, less than a month old. Any thoughts?

Is there someway of ascertaining its the physical switch itself without dissasembly? like, is there any simple way of bypassing that circuit to just get the computer turned on?

Does the power switch have a pin header it connects to on the motherboard like traditional case switches you could try pulling it and use your own switch.

You'll probably need to look up the c251 service manuals on Dell site.

One other thing is to double check all the connections and that something didn't get loosened while you where putting in the second HD.

Can't find them anywhere, you wouldn't happen to have a link?

I think the C251 and E521 are the same machine you can get the service manuals for the E521 at this link.

If you input the service tag on the machine at this link it should get the correct manuals.
