Docking station problem

I have a Sony laptop here and there is only one hardware profile. It doesn't seem to recognise that its docked. There is no undock icon coming up in windows. It is docked though, im using the keyboard, monitor and mouse from the station. I need to set up two monitor configs for each state...I would reboot it but its the…
