signed by gmail

    I get emails from a colleague who as well as having 'mailed by gmail' also has 'signed by gmail' on her mails. What is this ?

    Are you getting these to a GMail account from a GMail account? Where on the email are you seeing them?

    Yes, from a colleague's gmail account to my gmail account. Her mails always have 'signed by', 'mailed by' on them.

    Thats alright, its just a measure that GMail include on their emails to ensure their authenticity.

    Yeah, but how come I don't have that service on MY Gmail account?

    You do.

    There is nothing you need to do to get them. Your colleague should be seeing the same things on emails from you.

    I've tested it with mine and I only see "mailed by" on my mails.

    No, she doesn't in fact. She only sees 'mailed by gmail' and not 'signed by gmail'. Whereas on the emails I receive from her I see 'mailed by gmail' AND 'signed by gmail'.

    Can anyone enlighten us??
