I know what you mean I have LOTS of pics to get through too. It doesnt take much to suddenly have a backlog of pictures to process.

Nah Baz, it's a Raw processor.....but much more than that...it's an organiser and importer of your images, you can do basic processing, a la crop, red eye and colour balancing etc but for batch processing images, tagging them and hustling them around your HDD it can't be beat imo. Two different animals altogether!
I was so impressed that I even have this, on order. And me actually buying something that I could otherwise 'acquire' is bloody rare indeed.

well you know what they say - be careful what you wish for!!

BTW was it 700 guys on motorcycles or one guy 700 times??? seems a bit excessive isn't it? :)

but i do understand the whole thing about doing something else aside from the fulltime job

when i was much younger, i was a keen artist/painter whatever, until i became a trainee commercial artist - that killed any inclination to do any sort of related stuff for leisure/passtime for a long long time. Once it becomes a job it takes on a different aspect - some people enjoy that - i didn't.

I've the photos finally on their way up, I had batch problems that couldn't be solved with elaborate and expensive software, but a single line command worked perfectly (<3 imagemagick).

They can all be found here

Fionn: One guy on a bike, 700 photos. I was trying different speeds and angles. Definately an interesting time, having a stunt bike roaring away about two feet from me.
