Connector?

    Anybody any ideas what kinda connector this is?
    If it is even TV?

    Looks like a VCR coaxial lead, but I am open to correction if its not.

    Basic standard European female coax connector, as you'd find on the back of any television set.

    It's usually used to connect to RF out on VCRs, DVDs, Set top boxes etc

    or, oddly enough, for FM in on Radios.

    The male coax connector wont fit into it. The outside rings are the exact same size. It will fit into a female connector but doesnt seem to be sending anything to the tv when i connect it that way.

    That's cause the female connection on a vcr etc, is an input connection. Did the lead come with something you bought? Outer ring looks very thick compared to standard connections(maybe just the photo)

    Its just a long cable thats coming stright from the floor boards not sure what its for. thought it might be some type of tv connection....

    Was just there when i moved in!
