Holiday to Albufeira Private Apt

    Anyone have any recommendations for private apts here? Want to go in July and generally only hotels left. Can get the flights with Aer Lingus so this would be perfect. Or if anyone has been there on package can you recommend apartments and I could try and book direct

    Try the Hotel Montechoro(hotelmontechoro.pt). They have self catering apartments and villas as part of their complex. Montechoro is about 5 kms from Albufeira, but the immediate area around the complex is well developed with bars, restaurants, etc.

    I stayed here last year with the missus in one of their S/C appartments. It was excellent. Abulfeira is pretty crap tho in my opinion. We rented a harley and drove to lisbon. Lisbon was excellent.

    I have not used these apartments, but the owner was very helpful giving me directions on another forum

    Was in the Old Town of Albufeira over Easter. Delightful place
