Well just got back into the library it was like being back at the bargain basement in Dunne’s for the Christmas sales. Lots and Lots of dealers there, one guy across from me goes to his mate beside him, while in the Religion section
    - "ahh look at this, only four euro, don't really want it, do you?"
    - "What is it...ahh the quality isn't great but the Benedictines don't care about quality hahha"
    - "probably get 100 dollars for it....."

Got an oxford dictionary of quotations from 1950 for a fiver, and two volumes of "chambers - English lit" from 1889 from ten euro. Got eight other random books for seven euro.

Sorry if I’ am the only one here but I think I have a problem with second hand book sales...

Is it still going to be on tomorrow? didn't realise it was on this week - you usually pick up a good few bargains.

I love the book sale, it's seriously addictive! Got loads of academic books there last year for really cheap. What time does it open at tomorrow?

Ibid and I (and a good chunk of his family) were there last night. I got six books for €13.10. Two of them are academic and four general-interest. I'm particularly pleased with €2 for Chamberlin's Theory of Monopolistic Competition, and €5 for a rare book of Irish architectural drawings. €1 for a book about Dublin's geology and €1 for a booklet-style book about the Cistercian abbey in Dunbrody. €4 for a classic macroeconomics text and 10c for a novel. We're heading back in later to see what's been put out for today.
