RAI close to bubble

MTT, close to the bubble 500/1000 with even amount of chips at table, 11-15K, 10 seats, except for the usual bouts of Ninja poker table play has tightened up.

    Folded around to the blinds
    SB (13K) limps
    BB (12k me) [7d 5d]
    Flop [5h 7h 10h]
    SB checks
I make it 5500, trying to cut off the flush draw
SB RAI has me marginally covered
    Me?????

Also “I’m thinking why did’nt he raise PF, could have easily let this go” Is this the wrong thing to be thinking now I’ve invested in the hand?
    Could I have c/f flop?

BB (me) [7d 5d] Wow I'm playing far to tight, Should I be raising/pushing with any two cards from a SB limp? or is it the bubble fear factor that would make villian laydown a marginal holding? If I had J,10^ Ax I would have raised, I find it hard to do when getting close

Anyway I folded and he showed 8s 3s......Next Time McCloud.

You have like 8m, sb has shown weakness and if you raise your pot committed anyway so might as well push if you going to raise at all and even if your called by ace rag etc, your not in that bad a shape

Lol at him calling a raise with 83 and wtf @ your fold, you should never ever ever ever fold that.

i thought this was going to be a bad beat thread where the SB has A2h or something like that and you obviously call.... to reiterate everyone else, never fold in this spot

You have 5.5k behind and 6.5k invested blinds are 500-1k you should be calling here blind on blind with any pair never mind two pair.

Did you bet 5,500 into a 2000 pot or am I missing something??

    As played it's an instacall.

EDITED slightly, I missed you had 2 pair.

Blip. Interesting name. Not a million miles from Bops. I'm just the suspicious type.

I can say with about 95% certainty that that's not a post from bops...

I think the point was well made and we don't need to belittle the OP just to hammer it home.

I wasn't trying to belittle him in anyway and if it came across like that I apologise to the OP. I was just trying to emphasise the point that this is a easy call imo.
