I've been told my cig lighter unit is banjo'd. It is easy to install the whole lighter unit if i can get a 2nd hand one?

I was using a car charger and think that it burnt the unit out. Its not the fuse and was told i will have to replace the whole thing.

    Anybody know?

Phone chargers are a regular cause of these things blowing along with stray coins. Most times it's only the fuse. I'd check the connection at the back of the lighter socket for voltage before replacing any parts.
