Having just watched episode 3 last night, I can safely say it was one of the best hours of TV i have ever watched. Is anybody else following the series?
Mackey torturing Guardo in the abandoned warehouse has to be one of the greatest TV scenes ever. Definitely my favorite moment since Season 2
    when he "stoved" Armadillo!

It was another great episode. Vic's
torture and killing of Guardo was vicious, brutal, and very much in character. I actually started to finally feel sorry for Shane as he desperately tried to stop the slaughter but couldn't.
Now we have to wait for Dutch to solve the crime...

I've just found 6x04 has been aired and have started watching it... but think I'll keep the rest as a treat for myself tomorrow...

05 is also available. Apparently its being shown in English in France two eps a week ?!? Parlez nicely to your French cousins.

Great program, though personally I haven't been amazed so far by this season. I thought they wrapped up the
    whole Forrest Whitaker theme
far too quickly. Glad to see that Clark Johnson ("Meldrick Lewis" from Homicide) is still directing some eps.
IMHO Shane should be far more tortured this season by what he did than he has shown so far. I also liked the way Butch-boy's new partner identified his "sh1t where you live" syndrome :p

The last ep the previous season was a mind-blower IMHO. Other stand out eps for me were the very first ever ep where Vic assassinates what is essentially Mike Kellerman from Homicide and the flash-back ep about the setting up of the Barn. I just loved the way Vic and Shane dressed before they were in the Strike team.;)

I'm loving the fact that I can watch the season 7 months before it arrives over here... Season 6 (from the 3 episodes I've watched), seems to have gotten the spark back that made the show so engrossing in the first place. The violence is there, the brutality is there and the top quality acting has also been stepped up a notch. It might be too early to say it, but I think it already has the makings of being the best season yet...

If anything I thought the show had gotten better and better over the last couple of seasons with actors like Close and Whitakker in outstanding roles. Have watched now watched upto ep 6 and it really is great. Only downside is I'll then have to wait ages until season 7...

Good ending alright. I am used to watching shows before they air here but it is weird watching them before they have even aired in the U.S.

two eps a week in france, eh? i was wondering why the credits said 'avec michael chiklis'....
    just watched ep. 4,
claudette is being really sneaky to vic about the whole 'you have an appeal' thing. and he's falling for it...

    Yeah but
i have a feeling its all going to blow up in her face when he finds out. He's gone completely off the rails now and this might just be enough to make him do something very drastic

I've seen episode 6 and will watch 7 tonight. The end of ep 5 where
Shane confesses to the wife about killing Lem was great. I didn't think he'd actually tell her. For a moment though I thought he was going to shoot her too.

When Vic does eventually find out what Shane did, and it has to happen sooner or later, I wonder what he'll do. Shane is Vic's oldest friend, though they have had their fair share of troubles. I can't see Vic killing him over it, but maybe he'd give Shane up in a bid to stay on and not be forced to retire?

just noticed that was ep 5 I had watched, so 6 and 7 tonight, yipee!

Well there is a 7th season planned so I'm not sure how they are going to end it up. If you've seen what Vic did to Guardo, it makes it all the harder to tell what he will do to Shane when he finds out. Shane was, in a twisted way, acting to save himself and Vic from Lem ratting them out. My view is that there is going to be a massive fist fight between them which will damage their relationship beyond repair. They won't trust each other and this may lead to both of them getting killed...
